Adam is proud to be one of the initial teachers that helped bring Sattva Yoga classes to Los Angeles, and is so happy to be able to do so at the beloved Golden Bridge Yoga. In his teachings, he combines his vast experiences in India, his years of high-level athletics, and his love of laughter; that which is light is easier to move. Over 18 years of yoga practice culminated in studying one on one with the founder of Sattva Yoga, Anand Mehrotra, in Rishikesh India. Having journeyed there six times, he immerses himself in a total sattva yoga practice: ancient wisdoms, pranayama, kriya, asana and of course the practice/application in daily life. This all comes through to the students in an authentic and energizing Sattva class as well as in the award winning documentary he is featured in that follows yogis using the teachings to face death and fear on motorcycles in the Himalayas of India and over the highest road in the world (www.TheHighestPass.com).
In 2009 Adam was the exclusive yoga instructor for the LA Galaxy pro soccer team. Adam himself is a former pro soccer player who graduated as an All-Ivy first team player from Cornell University. So, he has seen the benefits of yoga as far back as college when it helped transform him and his teammates into success.
So, it feels like yoga has been present in all the adventures Adam has stepped into...including being a human being and simply having real feelings and experiences that we can all relate to. Often our practice is as simple as recognizing ignorance and fears and rising above them through practice. And to that practice, he points you. Wahe Guru. Adam is also Yoga Alliance certified, Sattva Yoga certified, and teaches meditation weekly.
Aimee’s practice in the teaching and healing arts began in Chicago as an English teacher and then as a school and community counselor after receiving her Master’s Degree in Human Services and Counseling. After moving to Los Angeles, she expanded her experiences by becoming an IKYTA certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She is also a Master Level Reiki and Crystal Healer. Her yoga and healing sessions incorporate breath, movement, mantra and meditation to get your radiant, creative, divine energy flowing through the blues and blocks.
Amy Shea discovered Kundalini Yoga at Golden Bridge in 2007 and has since become an IKYTA certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She is also certified in The Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga, Mommy & Me Yoga, Light Leaders Yoga and Y.O.G.A. for Youth. Amy is honored and blessed to share the ancient wisdom of yoga with her students. Her classes focus on the journey into self-discovery, the open and loving heart and the connection to humanity. She brings a calm and nurturing manner to her classes and offers a space for all to feel safe and have fun. Amy has a deep respect for the beauty of pregnancy and childbirth and is devoted to sharing the gifts of The Khalsa Way to support mothers-to-be on their journey to motherhood. Azita Nahai, PhD (Ramjoti Kaur)
Azita Nahai, PhD (Ramjoti) first found herself at home within the teachings of Yogi Bhajan in 2001 through the guidance of her teacher, Guru Singh. She is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, Trauma Sensitive Yoga teacher, Y.O.G.A. for Youth teacher. With a PhD in Human Development Azita’s professional and doctoral research has uncovered and supported the use of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as a valuable adjunctive therapy in Trauma Recovery. She recognizes that the global revolution needed to heal this world begins with one’s personal healing and transformation~ one conscious breath at a time.
Her professional practice brings the body, soul and spirit back into foundational mind centered therapy by incorporating the principles of this yogic philosophy and technology off the yoga mat and into everyday life. She offers practical tools that empower her students and clients to become conscious participants in their own healing and growth in order to embody and embrace a meaningful and purposeful life.

Brittny entered her first child’s pose at the age of 11 under the influence of her older sister Karyn, has been a committed student of yoga since 2001, and has been teaching yoga since 2007.
Her life vision is to help to create spaces and opportunities for individual and collective transformation. To shed what no longer serves and evolve beyond circumstances and preferences.

Dharam Dev Kaur Khalsa
Dharam Dev Kaur Khalsa had the blessing to serve Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga with her family in Los Angeles for many years. She is dedicated to share these priceless teachings to elevate the Mind, Body and Spirit that she discovered in high school over 40 years ago. She is Marriage, Family and Child Counselor in private practice for over 26 years in Beverly Hills, incorporating the best of eastern yogic philosophy and tools with her clients. She is presently a Teacher Trainer with her husband Siri Marka of 27 years in 4 different yoga centers in the area. Her daughter, Guruparkash works at International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association.

Gail has been teaching Khalsa Way prenatal yoga for over seven years. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, and is a certified Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga Teacher. Gail is also a birth doula, which further enhances her awareness of how each woman uniquely experiences this powerful journey.

During the late 1990s Giancarlo was a professional basketball player. During that time he experienced “the zone” which allowed him to move with effortless precision and centeredness. This inspired him to dive into the teachings of yoga and meditation. In his classes, he helps move students from the mind into the heart center. It is in the heart where students are able to live a fuller life of love, compassion and inner knowing.
Giancarlo leads a life that is synchronized with cosmic rhythms and laws. His mission is to open the hearts and minds of individuals so that they too can experience this sense of oneness that is alive within them.
Hari Simran Kaur
Hari Simran Khalsa was born into a family of Kundalini Yogis. She has been a student of Yogi Bhajan's since her early childhood. She was educated in India from KG through high school where she practiced the teachings of Yogi Bhajan on a daily basis. It was there that she was trained and received her Kundalini Yoga teacher's certification. Hari Simran Kaur went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in International Business from the College of Santa Fe. She then further developed her experiences in India and her knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine at the California College of Ayurveda where she graduated and is now practicing as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist.
Hari Simran’s classes are energetic and inspiring. In each class she brings together the science of yoga and Ayurveda as a complete system of healing. Students will experience the wisdom and power these teachings can bring to everyone.
Jagatpal Singh, born and raised in Indiana, moved to California in search of a new adventure. There he was encouraged by a friend to participate in a guided meditation. The experience immediately connected him to a greater part of himself, he felt a decrease in the stress of living in a big city, and he gained control over his excessive thoughts. Day by day, a sense of peace settled into his life. Shortly after, he stumbled upon a yoga class. When he entered the doors of Golden Bridge Yoga, he heard them opening a class with a chant. It struck something in his heart and from there his path was sealed. After a short time practicing, he started to notice pain in his body dissipate and his awareness rising. He eventually took the Teacher Training so he could offer others the tools that helped him. His spiritual name means “One who serves, inspires and uplifts all.” He uses Yoga, Massage, Reiki, and other healing modalities to do just that. His classes are open to any student whether a first timer or experienced practitioner. You will leave class feeling like every part of you has been given a little TLC.

Inspired by the yogic teachings of Yogi Bhajan as well as Gurmukhs' teachings on conscious pregnancy and birth Jennifer delivered her daughter naturally at home in January 2013. She believes yoga and meditation help women to unlock their intuition and trust their inner power so they know what is best for their body, their birth and their baby.

Kiyomi Takahashi is an IKYTA-certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500hr level Hatha Yoga Teacher, and a certified Yoga Therapist (LMU). As a Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, she founded Pure Vital Living where she combines her love for yoga with her passion for nutrition to support her clients’ journey to live joyful lives. Kiyomi is committed to uplifting everyone she connects with and is honored to share the beautiful teachings of Kundalini and Restorative yoga at Golden Bridge in Santa Monica. She's known for her precise guidance, warm encouragements, and as-needed modifications in a supportive light-hearted environment. Kiyomi's intention is to support her clients vitality so they are able to bring forth into the world their unique light and gifts. Kiyomi teaches classes and workshops privately, and to large groups at festivals, as well as at yoga studios and businesses in Los Angeles.
Linh’s beginning to yoga was purely physical, she simply wanted a “yoga butt”, with that she found her way to Ashtanga Yoga. Through her “yoga butt journey” came the discovery that yoga was more than a physical practice. As changes started happening off the mat, she started questions what yoga was really about. Linh found her way to her first teacher training program over a decade ago, first certifying as a Hatha teacher, and then eventually certifying further as a Kundalini Yoga teacher. Linh has traveled the world studying and searching for answers about love and life; she dedicated most of her studies to the science of tapping into the greatness within. She is certified as a coach, educates from the heart, and she has her Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology. However if you were to ask Linh who she is, she’d say “a pure soul, a white light”, always have been always will be my pureness will never change. Life has brought me many lessons which have challenged this knowing. I say “bring it on”! To take a class with Linh might be easy some days, and a challenge other days, it all depends on you and where you are at she says. She empowers her students to listen within and follow the voice of love. Her style of teaching is with an open heart, compassion, patience and at the same time finding the challenge of going just be-on the comfort zone.
Linh encourages her student to have some type of daily spiritual practice, even if it’s just for the yoga butt, because within a spiritual practice you will come to know YOU are greater than you thought.
McLean is a Certified Yoga & Pilates Teacher and Clinical Nutritionist. She is a mama, wife, Buddhist, animal lover and yogi. She began practicing yoga at the age of 15 and it has been a running thread throughout her life, whether in the form of Vinyasa, Yin, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini or Prenatal. Her passion is now guiding women through their journey of pregnancy through yoga and proper nutrition. After having her daughter and enduring a very difficult pregnancy, McLean realized that mamas need more support and that became her true calling. McLean’s aim is to help women uncover and uphold their divine right to a happy, bountiful, blissful pregnancy, birth and life! No matter how things unfold, women have the warrior strength and lioness spirit to get through it with grace and love. Through prenatal yoga, McLean guides her students to marvel in their pregnant glory, get strong, release fears, connect deeply with their baby, and allow themselves to have fun and be okay with not having all of the answers. Onkar Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga Student, Teacher and Meditative Healer. She has been practicing Kundalini Y oga, as taught by Y ogi Bhajan, since the summer of 2006 and has been teaching since the summer of 2008. She has lived in Alabama, Colorado and now resides in Los Angeles, California.
Onkar feels that it has been God & Gurus grace that has led her to share these teachings that have profoundly shaped and changed her life.
She finds the most joy in life in teaching, serving others and the world in all aspects.
Her classes will be focused on deep healing of the self thru meditation, pranayam, yoga, mantra and relaxation.
Ram Kirin is a certified IKYTA teacher. His classes can be both energetic and deeply meditative. “I like to send my students away with more confidence, self love, determination, and deeper awareness of the self on all levels.”
He also uses the the ancient sound of the Gong to create a state of meditation and therapeutic relaxation that facilitates the movement of prana (vital life energy) through the body to awaken the consciousness for transformation.

Renukah has been influenced by yoga since early childhood, having lived in India from 2000-2004. She is inspired by the many different styles of yoga she has studied, including Ashtanga under Pattabhi Jois, Hatha, and Kundalini. She started her own Kundalini practice in 2000 and drawing from her background in dance and physical education, Renukah incorporates poses to enhance physical strength, flexibility, and a relaxed mind. Renukah is also certified in Radiant Child Yoga and Yogafit Flow.
When Renukah isn’t practicing yoga or riding her bike, you’ll find her with her nose buried in an anatomy book studying sonography.
Sat Devbir Singh
Sat Devbir Singh is an artist of life. He believes that we all come to being as Masters of our destiny, empowered to create the experience we want. With Native American and Greek ancestry, he comes from a lineage of spiritual ones. From the time he was a small child, his greatest fulfillment was to help people realize their true gifts. He has since obtained a Doctrine of Divinity, created a unique line of Enlightened Oils, and has a thriving Crystal Healing practice. Certified by the Kundalini Research Institute through Golden Bridge Los Angeles, he describes his Yoga teacher training journey with Gurmukh and the rest of the team "by far the best thing I've ever done for myself and humanity". Sukhdev Jackson is a woman with a mission. Barely out of her teacher training in 2006, she was called to teach almost full time and has now made it her life's purpose.
A fiercely authentic certified Kundalini Yoga & meditation teacher, Sukhdev brings passion, laughter and live music to a challenging and meditative class which sets a space to go deep into the vortex of one's being where one has the ability to co-create their physical reality. Thea Harvey is a certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher, and Hatha Yoga instructor. She is also a Marriage and Family Therapist and Life Coach in private practice in Santa Monica. In 2003, Gurmukh invited Thea to take her first Kundalini class when they were both teaching yoga to foster children. This introduction led to her certification at Golden Bridge. Her classes emphasize the practical use of Kundalini technology in everyday living, providing students with immediate results in their personal growth. Thea has a four year old daughter that she birthed The Khalsa Way. With her husband she conducts tantra relationship workshops and blogs for the Huffington Post. She also leads transformational healing retreats and family yoga kirtans.
Tommy Rosen is a yoga teacher and addiction recovery expert who has spent the last two decades immersed in yoga, recovery and wellness. Tommy is certified in both Hatha and Kundalini Yoga and Meditation and he is one of the pioneers in the burgeoning field of Yoga and Recovery.
Tommy teaches regularly at yoga conferences and festivals, including Wanderlust, Hanuman and Tadasana. He hosts annual workshops at Esalen, Omega and Kripalu.
Tommy is also the co-founder of Tadasana Festival and he is the co-producer and host of the Recovery 2.0: Beyond Addiction Online Conference.
Tommy and his wife, noted yoga instructor Kia Miller, live in Venice, California, where they teach yoga and grow organic vegetables in their backyard.
Vanessa Kudrat is the founder of www.BodyMindGifts.com. She was introduced to Yoga in the California public school system over 30 years ago. She is an alignment-based earth-ceremony-centered Yoga & Meditation teacher. She is known for her innovative classes designed to help people heal. Kudrat is passionate about guiding people through the change of seasons, helping them to grow stronger and healthier as they age.
Wahe Guru Kaur Khalsa
Wahe, daughter of Gurmukh and Guru Shabd was born into a lineage of yogis. Schooled in India, Wahe is a true modern day yogi and global citizen who still travels the far reaches of the world in her spirited commitment to serving humanity, mother earth and all its creatures. As a Kundalini Yoga teacher and student of Yogi Bhajan she uses the technology of yoga and its teachings to navigate through life and uplift all who cross her path. Kundalini is considered the most comprehensive of yogas, combining meditation, prayer, physical practices and breathing exercises. “Kundalini” literally means “the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved.” This poetic metaphor alludes to the flow of energy and consciousness that exists within each of us, and enables us to merge with – or “yoke” – the universal Self. Fusing individual and universal consciousness creates a divine union, called “yoga.” The Upanishads, Hindu’s sacred scriptures that date back to the fifth century B.C., describe Kundalini, although the oral tradition reaches back even further into history. For thousands of years, this sacred science and technology was veiled in secrecy, passed along verbally from master to chosen disciple.
Yogi Bhajan broke with this long-held tradition of silence. A master of Kundalini by the age of 16 – itself a rare feat – he gave his first lecture at a Los Angeles high school gym on January 5, 1969. Then a 39-year-old recent émigré from India, he had left behind a lucrative governmental career with the vision of bringing Yoga to the West. No matter that not a single person was present that evening; he came to teach and he proceeded to speak to the empty hall.
In the turbulent, drug culture of the 60s, Bhajan first reached out to the youth. He recognized their experimentation with drugs and “altered states of consciousness” expressed a deeper desire to experience a holistic, liberating sense of awareness. Soon realizing that pharmaceuticals provided, at best, a cheap imitation to the peaceful, inner euphoria they could get naturally from Kundalini, and at worst, had debilitating physical and mental side effects, young people began flocking to his classes, arriving by the busloads. Soon 3HO teaching centers began springing up across the United States and then throughout the world.
He sparked a movement whose many tendrils have wound their way into our culture. Through 3HO, Yogi Bhajan blazed a trail. Today, after more than 30 years of determined effort on the part of this organization and others, yoga and meditation have gained widespread acceptance in the West. Born Harbhajan Singh in what is now Pakistan to a family of healers and community leaders, Yogi Bhajan studied comparative religion and Vedic philosophy in his undergraduate years, going onto receive his Masters in Economics with honors from Punjab University. Years later, he earned his Ph.D. in communications psychology from the University of Humanistic Studies in San Francisco.
Over the past 32 years, he has emerged as a religious, community and business leader with a distinguished reputation as a man of peace, world-vision, wisdom, and compassion. He has authored and published more than 30 books on topics ranging from spirituality and consciousness to communication and psychology. He has founded several foods companies that manufacture and distribute natural products based on these teachings. He has fostered economic development in every community in which he participates, annually conducts business seminars, and has authored several books that provide guidance to both the aspiring entrepreneur and seasoned business executive alike. As the Siri Singh Sahib, or the Sikh leader in the Western Hemisphere, he has met with Pope John Paul II to discuss inter-religious dialogue and worked side-by-side with the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop of Canterbury to foster world peace.
