Cradled in the arms of the Mother Ganga, at the foothills of the Himalayas, in the small and colorful village of Rishikesh, at the end of a narrow and winding path, you may be so lucky as to stumble upon a piece of Heaven here on Earth. This is Ramana’s Garden Home for Destitute Children. And like the children who live here, once you enter through the garden gate, you cannot return untouched.
Here at Ramana’s Garden many children, who come from unspeakable beginnings, unspeakable tragedies, live, sing, dance, giggle, plant seeds, grow food, maintain an organic vegetarian restaurant, serve customers, cuddle, go to school, solve problems and interact with a grace and strength and joy that exemplifies the kind of self esteem every mother wishes for her child.
What is their secret? What Mother of such enormous proportions loved these children into healing? These children are no longer victims of their circumstance. They are guides showing us that transformation is possible. They are beacons of light pointing us in the direction of our own healing. They are angels reminding us that the power is within and growth is a choice we make no matter what our circumstance.

Please join us as we welcome back Gurmukh and Gurushabd from their travels to India. Gurmukh will lead us in a very special yoga class and a Solstice meditation. Clear the path in celebration of the longest day of the year and awaken the vital sun energy in your soul! Experience Double Gong, played by Gurushabd and Gurmukh during this time of renewal and transformation.
