November 14th – 19th, 2017 India
“What do we mean by communication? The definition of communication is a practice that creates a “common notion” with another person or object of attention. At what level do we communicate? Did you ever learn that your existence is your communication? Your projection is your relationship? You are the power? But life is often sour. There is no happiness, because your communication has no purpose of Self. You communicate to impress someone. You don’t communicate to relate you to someone. That’s why you suffer now. You don’t communicate consciously.”
What we are trying to do is not live at each other, not to live with each other, but to live for each other.”
Use your communication skills to create a common notion with others—even those you disagree with. Communicate your whole Self, with awareness, kindness and fearlessness. Listen—don’t just hear. Elevate your communication to the power of creative dialogue so that life becomes a flow, in harmony with the Infinite.
As human beings we have the ability to transcend ordinary methods of communication through the very essence of our presence. A radiant, clear mind and heart can uplift and inspire millions without having uttered a word. Yet, we are also creatures of sound who have the capacity to shape and move the ethers to express our thoughts, needs and ideas. The guiding principle to both modes of effectively communicating is the realization that how we communicate with others is a direct reflection of how we see and communicate with our Self.
As part of this global awakening Golden Bridge Yoga is privileged to offer a course in Conscious Communication. Taught by our senior staff, you will experience cutting edge techniques guiding you into illuminating energies, astonishing perceptual shifts and accelerated gains in awareness and consciousness.
If you want to live a happy, harmonious life, Conscious Communication with your Self and others is essential. To obtain such clarity, you need to experience, explore and expand your spirit; you must travel to a sovereign space deep within where duality ceases to exist and the cosmic energy available to you flows freely. The Level 2 Conscious Communication course provides you with the tools and experience you need to create a more powerful, authentic projection in all your daily relationships. From this place of authenticity, you will discover the bio-rhythm of your own tonal frequency and learn how to access and constructively use the multiple forms of communication you have at your disposal.
This six day course gives you tools to effectively communicate with yourself and with others and to speak from the voice of your soul. We approach effective communication as an art. Throughout the course, you will create an experience of transformation in your ability to communicate effectively as an individual and a teacher. Explore the difference between normal communication and conscious communication. Examine some very real patterns in communication, which challenge us, such as gossip and deception. Then experience ways to drop these old patterns and move forward with a new reality. Learn through experience what harmonious communication feels like, what are its qualities and how it differs from regular talking and communicating. Practice the art of speaking effectively in public and private and speaking intuitively without fear. This Level 2 course is specifically designed to take you on a journey that will give you the experiential wisdom you need to break free of the fractured, doubting personality that sabotages your intuitive mind and blocks you from experiencing the flow of harmonious communicative energy that resides within and around you.
- Recognize and contrast conscious communication with other types of communication
- The role of silence and shuniya in communication

- ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A HEALTHY FLIGHT?
Since the flight is so long we do recommend drinking plenty of water, at least 8 ounces per hour. Drinking caffeinated beverages is not recommended. If you want a special meal remember to order in advance with your airline.. Vitamin C or Vitamin packets are helpful in fortifying your immune system during the flight. Snacks of fruits and nuts will help too. When not sleeping or watching movies, take regular breaks to get up, walk around and stretch.
- WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
Once you register you will be provided with a suggested packing list. We suggest you bring one large suitcase or duffle as checked luggage and one small bag or knapsack as your carry on. If you would like bring an empty duffle packed into your suitcase to bring home your purchases. Don’t overpack!
Remember, airlines are imposing stricter guidelines for luggage and weight. Also, there are times you will have to carry your own luggage, so make sure the luggage you bring is luggage you can handle carrying.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS – CURRENCY, DRESS & NIRVANA RIVER RESORT
- HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I TAKE WITH ME?
That’s entirely up to you and how much you want to buy. Things in India are much more inexpensive than they are in the US or Europe, so your dollar goes pretty far. Travelers checks are harder to exchange in India than cash, so we recommend bringing cash and credit/debit cards. ATMs are available down in Ram Jula and the Rishikesh area. Ram Jula / Rishikesh is about 45 minutes from where we will be staying.
ATMs are also available in Delhi, Ram Jula and at the airport.
Most stores take credit cards.
- WHAT IS THE CURRENCY AND HOW CAN I EXCHANGE MY DOLLARS?
The currency in India is the rupee. There is money exchange in the Delhi airport. When you fly into Delhi, exchange some money into rupees at the airport.
The rupee is not exchangeable outside of India so however much money you exchange into rupees, know that you must either spend it or exchange it back before leaving the country.
- HOW SHOULD I DRESS WHEN TRAVELING THROUGH INDIA?
For women, please dress modestly with respect for the culture. It is preferred to not wear tank tops and halters or shorts. Also when traveling through India it is best not to wear tight or transparent clothes that show too much skin or underarms.
Instead wear loose fitting graceful clothing such as Indian Kurtas. Long skirts are also a good option.
This is to not only show respect for the culture but to also not draw unwanted attention to yourself.
For men, we suggest not to wear tank tops. Kurta shirts and T-shirts are fine.
You will be doing a lot of Kundalini Yoga and meditation so we prefer white or light colored clothing. Also, head coverings are highly recommended.
There is plenty of shopping in Ram Jula and Laxshman Jula. These areas are about 45 minutes to an hour below where the training is being held. So, you can do plenty of shopping for clothes if you arrive early before the training begins.
- WHAT IS THE NIRVANA RIVER RESORT?
For more information please see: http://www.nirvanariverresort.com
Because we will be up in the mountains please make sure to bring all of your toiletries and any necessary comforts with you from home. There will be days off during the course when you will be able to travel down to Laxshman Jhula or Ram Jhula (where Parmarth Niketan Ashram is located).
